Xu Yi Lei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Xu Yi Lei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Major Barna took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xu Yi Lei. Xu Yi Lei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 29 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xu Yi Lei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind City Friseur Wuppertal's goalkeeper Xu Yi Lei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 36th minute of play. Albi Martínez struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for City Friseur Wuppertal. Albi Martínezs short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Fodor Daniel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 45th minute, Nuratay Ergüner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Waldemar Ryback made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldemar Ryback in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Hipolito Normando hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Albi Martínez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Ryback in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute City Friseur Wuppertal were awarded a corner. Edwin Vestlund went to the cornerflag to take it. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nebi Tokyürek in the 77th minute of play. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, City Friseur Wuppertal's goalkeeper Xu Yi Lei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Albi Martínez hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Ryback, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Hungary's Bakos Endre seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bakos Endre the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hungary protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bakos Endre had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Hungary:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of City Friseur Wuppertal:s goal. Hungary:s Fodor Daniel showed great skill when he stopped Waldemar Ryback:s penalty.
