After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eron Velazquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eron Velazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 6th minute of the match. Rubén Alavedra's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Keld Paulsen firmly grabbed it by the left post. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rubén Alavedra went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 16th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense. Eron Velazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but torpes de iparajema's Eron Velazquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes in the game, Moisés Mangas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the game, Moisés Mangas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Keld Paulsen. Moisés Mangas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 36th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eron Velazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Denmark's Chris Nygaard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eron Velazquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Olav Graversen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Kenn Skou sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eron Velazquez skillfully saved the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rubén Alavedra was the one to do the kick off. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, torpes de iparajema's Brandes Matthes got a free kick in the 65th minute. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Eron Velazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to torpes de iparajema getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Rubén Alavedra hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, torpes de iparajema's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Steen came free, but Eron Velazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubén Alavedra in the 77th minute of play. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. Kenn Skou hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute of the match torpes de iparajema got a corner. Denmark's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antolin Valdivia ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Antolin Valdivia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Keld Paulsen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eron Velazquez was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Moisés Mangas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Chris Nygaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eron Velazquez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 3-2 became the score in the 91st minute when Rubén Alavedra elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Kenn Skou got a free kick in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Denmark players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for torpes de iparajema.
