England's Khalid Kennedy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save England from getting a goal against them. Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Sjöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Wassenius in the 13th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marc Hamberg. Kyle Cox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Nyman having to interfere. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Caelan Hayes hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cranberry United's zone, Kyle Cox stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Nyman came out of the goal and Kyle Cox tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes Cranberry United got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Wieczorek. 30 minutes into the game, Kyle Cox cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bertil Nyman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Wieczorek in the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cranberry United's Pelle Jonsson got a free kick in the 34th minute. Kyle Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Stanislaw Wieczorek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khalid Kennedy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marc Hamberg in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Cranberry United's Marc Hamberg got a free kick in the 40th minute. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Micah Macdonald put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bertil Nyman. Issac Dawson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Nyman having to interfere. The supporters of England booed when Cranberry United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristian Asplund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stanislaw Wieczorek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Kyle Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, England's Xavier Gallagher got a free kick in the 55th minute. The supporters of England booed when Cranberry United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Hamberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes Cranberry United got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Harman. John Näfver made in the 73rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Marc Hamberg. If Kyle Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kyle Cox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Nyman having to interfere. When Micah Macdonald came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the England fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Micah Macdonald couldn't finish the play. After having played for 94 minutes, Issac Dawson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. England's supporters crossed their fingers, but Issac Dawson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
