In the 15th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Ochabski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Heemskerk AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Heemskerk AC's Kajetan Ochabski did a great save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. With a little luck, Heemskerk AC's Kajetan Ochabski got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line.
