The crowd rose to their feet as Portucale H5's Gonçalo Pereira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnout Reekers. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. 25 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Mikolas came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Maximo Mikolas advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 27th minute. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Vale in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevão Antas in the 34th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the match, Portucale H5's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but İbrahim Efe Vecih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

İbrahim Efe Vecih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Portucale H5 booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egbert Nijveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Portucale H5's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Wim Wilmes scored to the left of an out of position İbrahim Efe Vecih, making the score, 2-1. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised İbrahim Efe Vecih. İbrahim Efe Vecih dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Portucale H5's İbrahim Efe Vecih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 72nd minute of play. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamilton Espírito Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevão Antas in the 75th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Portucale H5 fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Portucale H5's Maximo Mikolas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Portucale H5 made a substitution. Aníbal Barroso replaced Maximo Mikolas. 89 minutes into the match, Portucale H5's Estevão Antas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Portucale H5's Aníbal Barroso. But to his dismay, Aníbal Barroso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. In the 95th minute, Aníbal Barroso made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2.
