One of A V A Z A:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Denmark:s goal. The referee gave Denmark a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Chris Nygaard, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of A V A Z A's Şaban Okdağ. 0-1. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Şaban Okdağ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witalis Czerniak in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute A V A Z A were awarded a corner. Israel Casas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ignatiy Mamporia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen did a great save. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A V A Z A's goalie prevented a goal. Eldar Zukić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şaban Okdağ was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 33rdth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A V A Z A's Şaban Okdağ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chris Nygaard took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şaban Okdağ. Şaban Okdağ dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 42 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Bjarne Kirkegaard. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Nygaard was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Csaba Gera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chris Nygaard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Şaban Okdağ when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zviadi Anghelache charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zviadi Anghelache the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ignatiy Mamporia made in the 64th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Csaba Gera immediately put the ball in play. Filipp Topnikov kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. A V A Z A's Şaban Okdağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Eldar Zukić came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eldar Zukić in the 78th minute of the match.
