Baltasar Sancho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Almiron in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Baltasar Sancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Matias Maties got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baltasar Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes Sacro Balompié's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Hungary's Antal Valentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Baltasar Sancho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sacro Balompié's Baltasar Sancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 25th minute of play. Baltasar Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 30th minute. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sacro Balompié's Baltasar Sancho did a great save. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 38 minutes into the game, when Gonzalo Mogel put in a rough tackle. 37 minutes into the game, one of Sacro Balompié:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Matias Maties had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hegedus Henrik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Sancho having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Diego Jaunzuria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes Sacro Balompié got a freekick which was hit by Israel Berenguer. With a little luck, Sacro Balompié's Baltasar Sancho got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Baltasar Sancho could save by the left post. Sacro Balompié's Luisito Lander was substituted for Diego Jaunzuria. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Lander, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sacro Balompié's goalkeeper Baltasar Sancho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baltasar Sancho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute Luisito Lander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Sacro Balompié got a freekick which was hit by Israel Berenguer. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Lander in the 93rd minute of the match. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Baltasar Sancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sacro Balompié throughout the match.
