Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Augusto Benitez started the match with the kick off. Buffalo Timişoara's Alisson Becker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graciano Coutinho in the 2nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Buffalo Timişoara's Olgierd Kilar got a free kick in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Adrian Zbora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Adrian Zbora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alisson Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 11th minute of play. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franky Ooms in the 14th minute. If Augusto Benitez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Augusto Benitez sent off a good shot on target. Dorin Oravițan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 22 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Moura. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Buffalo Timişoara getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rahman Attar hit a great ball. In the 28th match minute, Buffalo Timişoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orhan Ortanca to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes, Portugal's Felipe Barreto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alisson Becker came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Portugal reached it. With his leg Wilson Amorim managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Buffalo Timişoara's Augusto Benitez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 38 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Benitez came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Zbora in the 43rd minute of play. The Buffalo Timişoara players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Portugal were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Franky Ooms ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Barreto in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alisson Becker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute, Fabricio Andrade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Alisson Becker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Daniel Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alisson Becker having to interfere. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Buffalo Timişoara's Vali Voicescu was substituted for Dorin Oravițan. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. In the 68th minute, Felipinho Amorim reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alisson Becker. The goal made the score 2-3. Felipinho Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alisson Becker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Benitez in the 76th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Felipinho Amorim put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Alisson Becker. Alisson Becker made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Felipinho Amorim sent off a good shot on target. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Alisson Becker made a huge save. Felipinho Amorim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Alisson Becker skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipinho Amorim got free with Alisson Becker in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felipinho Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alisson Becker having to make a save. In the 95th minute, Felipinho Amorim reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alisson Becker. The goal made the score 2-5.
