Donato Benino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Khalid Kennedy made a huge save. Denis Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micah Macdonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Issac Dawson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Atlético Villa Gesell's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cox came free, but Denis Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khalid Kennedy was a little too slow when Dario Bingen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Denis Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Issac Dawson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Calvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Issac Dawson in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Atlético Villa Gesell defense, Kyle Cox kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denis Calvino. The Atlético Villa Gesell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Calvino should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Atlético Villa Gesell booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seth Young didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Calvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Cox, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Issac Dawson hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hipolito Feliu. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Cox was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Micah Macdonald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. England's supporters crossed their fingers, but Micah Macdonald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Sal during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atlético Villa Gesell's Benjamin Sal got a free kick in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Paulo Rudolfo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of England's Khalid Kennedy. Khalid Kennedy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Denis Calvino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Feliu in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of England booed when Atlético Villa Gesell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Sal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in England's zone, Paulo Rudolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Khalid Kennedy came out of the goal and Paulo Rudolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Bingen in the 77th minute of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Kyle Cox who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Villa Gesell's Denis Calvino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Caelan Hayes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Calvino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Hipolito Feliu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Atlético Villa Gesell's Denis Calvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Issac Dawson in the 94th minute of play. Kyle Cox might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Calvino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kyle Cox ran back to his position shaking his head.
