The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lukács Bánhegyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael van Mol, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 25 minutes Hungarian Olympic's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henrik Rahner who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Henrik Rahner got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lukács Bánhegyi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 27 minutes into the match, Ernesto Belarmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gergely Füzesi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Belarmo in the 39th minute of play forced Maldini F.C's goalkeeper Gergely Füzesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Hungarian Olympic's Daniel Cassar Naudi got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernesto Belarmo was the one to do the kick off. Gergely Füzesi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Belarmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gergely Füzesi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zoltán Stieber went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute of the match Hungarian Olympic got a corner. Maldini F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bryan Hodgson ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Hungarian Olympic's corner Mátyás Zakariás fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gergely Füzesi quite easily take care of the ball. Ernesto Belarmo scored 8-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gergely Füzesi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernesto Belarmo took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gergely Füzesi. Gergely Füzesi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. In the 74th minute Ernesto Belarmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gergely Füzesi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kristóf Kárpáti fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maldini F.C's protests and gave Kristóf Kárpáti a yellow card for diving instead. After 81 played minutes Maldini F.C got a freekick which was hit by Kristóf Kárpáti. 82 minutes into the match, Ernesto Belarmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gergely Füzesi. In the 96thth minute of the game Ernesto Belarmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maldini F.C's Gergely Füzesi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Hungarian Olympic players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
