After a defensive mix-up in Solvik's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Argenis came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Wim Wilmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Argenis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 31st minute of play forced Solvik's goalkeeper Gustavo Argenis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Argenis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Argenis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gustavo Argenis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wim Wilmes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 53 minute of play. Gustavo Argenis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Gustavo Argenis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 60 minute of play. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Lars Meesters advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-5 in the 84th minute. Gustavo Argenis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Eikelkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Tarmo Kalto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Argenis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 91st minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Solvik.
