An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Henric in the 11th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 14th minute of play forced ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★'s goalkeeper Tamer Geylan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★'s goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Tamer Geylan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arif Egemen Durna kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Egemen Durna in the 35th minute of play. Tamer Geylan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tamer Geylan came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Tamer Geylan in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Henric in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Jimeno Henric notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Tamer Geylan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. After 85 played minutes Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Tamer Geylan stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★ of the goal. In the 90th minute of the match, Lars Meesters tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tamer Geylan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Tamer Geylan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 96thth minute. Though ot was a great shot ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★'s keeper Tamer Geylan was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 98 minutes ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
