Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Desiderio Handi sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Águilas Poblanas booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeledon Matthew. The Águilas Poblanas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Desiderio Handi's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Desiderio Handi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 21st minute Águilas Poblanas were awarded a corner. Zeledon Matthew went to the cornerflag to take it. Zeledon Matthew made a great header on Águilas Poblanas's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. Benicio Palben recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes in the game Roberto Mateus did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Virgilio Guerau. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Chuse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Saverio Chuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Handi came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Desiderio Handi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Matthew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Águilas Poblanas's Saverio Chuse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Águilas Poblanas from getting a goal against them. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Guerau in the 62nd minute of play. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Saverio Chuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Handi in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Desiderio Handi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Águilas Poblanas's Desiderio Handi got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Águilas Poblanas's Zeledon Matthew couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Germany. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Águilas Poblanas had won after a very even match.
