Yves Dervaux hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francesco Toldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francesco Toldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 39th minute of the match, Suleiman Süleyman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Casper Claes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peretu City 09's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Peretu City 09's Suleiman Süleyman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casper Claes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Vanderstraeten made a kick off. Yves Dervaux hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Francesco Toldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 56th minute of play forced Peretu City 09's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Suleiman Süleyman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Peretu City 09's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Mei Chong Kang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peretu City 09 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Francesco Toldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Marin Bosânceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Francesco Toldo in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Belgium were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Peretu City 09 to leave the ground with a draw.
