They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry Fagerberg was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Magne Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Rönnöfors FF's corner Per Stenberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. Henry Fagerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Per Tunström came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 81st minute of play. Edwin Ahlstedt made in the 83rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Torsten Åman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 83rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Netherlands walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
