A well-hit corner resulted in Linus Schwerner heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svali Bollason in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Gerardo Arce notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelino Nueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janik Vogt to maneuver through the defense. Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 45th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Svali Bollason to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Chris Mergenthaler threw the ball into play from the sideline. Reko-Recko 03™'s Dedé Gaspar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hao Feng Yu went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xande Cabezudo in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Krakouer to maneuver through the defense. Xande Cabezudo struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reko-Recko 03™. Reko-Recko 03™'s Glauco Breckenfeld was substituted for Gerardo Arce. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Nueva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, Xande Cabezudo notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Chris Mergenthaler fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Chris Mergenthaler a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio Trigo came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
