Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Shabeb Al Dowaisan's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shabeb Al Dowaisan helped the player get up and apologised. Shabeb Al Dowaisan hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Edgar Badia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. After 12 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. Honorio Carceles scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Ganix got free with Tommy Kahn in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of PERSPOLIS booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ekialde Nadal got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-0 in the right cross in the 19th match minute before Tommy Kahn had time to react. Cipriano Ganix took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Honorio Carceles kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 29th minute of play forced PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Edgar Badia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Edgar Badia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ekialde Nadal. In the 34th minute, Ekialde Nadal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Ekialde Nadal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Germany's attentive Adrian Dreifuss managed to snatch the ball when Axel Uplegger made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. Axel Uplegger hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Edgar Badia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Edgar Badia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Badia having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in PERSPOLIS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! After 66 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ekialde Nadal in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 68th minute PERSPOLIS were awarded a corner. Honorio Carceles went to the cornerflag to take it. PERSPOLIS's Honorio Carceles was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. PERSPOLIS made a substitution. Emiliano Quintero replaced Ekialde Nadal. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 73rd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Adrian Dreifuss heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. PERSPOLIS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Frank Sachs scored to the left of an out of position Edgar Badia, making the score, 3-2. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Badia having to interfere. Bela Herrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bela Herrero in the 86th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bela Herrero in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Feria in the 88th minute of the match. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. After 89 minutes, Albin Holweck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the PERSPOLIS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of PERSPOLIS booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Emiliano Quintero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PERSPOLIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 96th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Bela Herrero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Bela Herrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Facundo Feria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PERSPOLIS.
