Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute, S.C. Potentia's Frits Douwes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Frits Douwes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of S.C. Potentia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Frits Douwes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Frits Douwes kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Toni Mauzer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Croatia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pierre Landzaat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Mauzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierre Landzaat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Mauzer in the 20th minute of the match. When Naci Ünüvar came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the S.C. Potentia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naci Ünüvar couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Croatia booed when S.C. Potentia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo van Persie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Croatia's Damir Pongrac got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Mauzer in the 31st minute of play forced S.C. Potentia's goalkeeper Pierre Landzaat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre Landzaat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damir Pongrac went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Pierre Landzaat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damir Pongrac in the 37th minute of play. Pierre Landzaat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Mauzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Toni Mauzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Landzaat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierre Landzaat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Kostelac in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, S.C. Potentia's Sjaak Swart got a free kick in the 45th minute. Silvije Santek made in the 47th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dinko Stankovic. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toni Mauzer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Toni Mauzer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Croatia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Teo Gudelj got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Damir Pongrac. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damir Pongrac in the 59th minute of play forced S.C. Potentia's goalkeeper Pierre Landzaat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toni Mauzer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Pierre Landzaat made a huge save. Pierre Landzaat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Mauzer in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, S.C. Potentia's goal looked a bit too open when Toni Mauzer came free, but Pierre Landzaat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. S.C. Potentia's Timo van Persie managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Teo Gudelj in the 70 minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Eduard Kostelac took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Pierre Landzaat to make any attempt to save it. Pierre Landzaat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toni Mauzer in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Damir Pongrac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Croatia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C. Potentia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Croatia's Damir Pongrac got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ruud Schokkenbroek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damir Pongrac in the 87th minute of play forced S.C. Potentia's goalkeeper Pierre Landzaat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neven Culina got free with Pierre Landzaat in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neven Culina's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pierre Landzaat firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, S.C. Potentia's Pierre Landzaat got control of the ball when Toni Mauzer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Patrik Terzic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute Ruud Schokkenbroek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Croatia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
