Robert McNeill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Wally Hightower tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ashton Nelson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Petroni scored 3-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Higgins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexander Higgins stood somewhat misplaced when Emanuele Colasante came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 23 minute. With his leg Alexander Higgins managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Leonzio's Emanuele Colasante fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Leonzio fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Leonzio's Emanuele Colasante looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Domenico Mingione hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Scotland's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Donato Petroni scored to the left of an out of position Alexander Higgins, making the score, 8-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zac O'Donnell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Scotland's Alexander Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Colasante in the 54th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Emanuele Colasante put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alexander Higgins. Leonzio's Emanuele Colasante got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donato Petroni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. Diego Rosetta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rdth minute of the game Emanuele Colasante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scotland's Alexander Higgins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emanuele Colasante might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Higgins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuele Colasante ran back to his position shaking his head. After 77 minutes, Patricio Toro made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Scotland's Alexander Higgins tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the game, Emanuele Colasante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Alexander Higgins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Leonzio fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Leonzio's Emanuele Colasante looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 13-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Emanuele Colasante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuele Colasante in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Higgins saved Scotland from getting behind. Diego Rosetta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander Higgins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Leonzio's Diego Rosetta got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ayaan McGowan hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Leonzio were the better team. Leonzio's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
