Francis Sarmiento charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 35thth minute of the game Martin Rito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Rito got free with Keld Paulsen in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Rito came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Denmark's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tadeu Jacinto was slow to take the kick. During this time Sarmiento de Resistencia's players had a chance to rest. Arias Fabelo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Rito was the one to do the kick off. Wilfredo Casomiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 56 minutes, Martin Rito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Rito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Bertram Svenningsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aaron Sarmiento was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. 65 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Aaron Sarmiento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Rito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Martin Rito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Rito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the match, Martin Rito notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A throw-in in the 78th minute of the game was made by Kenn Skou with Bertram Svenningsen as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 81st minute, Arias Fabelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute of the match Lars Steen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aaron Sarmiento skillfully saved the ball. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Aaron Sarmiento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 85th minute of play. A hard shot 85 in the game by Chris Nygaard from a close distance when the talented Aaron Sarmiento managed to make a qualified save. Sarmiento de Resistencia's players were relieved. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rito in the 88th minute of play. With a little luck, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Aaron Sarmiento got control of the ball when Chris Nygaard tried to sneak it across the goal line.
