Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Antal Valentin made the kick off and thus started the match. Willy Van Linthout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Bruly's goalie and right to Katona Janos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Bruly's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Willy Van Linthout having to make a save. Willy Van Linthout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Hungary booed when Bruly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Rõõm didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Hegedus Henrik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willy Van Linthout was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Mario Rõõm charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Rõõm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mario Rõõm hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Willy Van Linthout didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. 25 minutes into the game, Brend Schrevens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fodor Daniel. Brend Schrevens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Willy Van Linthout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 36th minute of play. Willy Van Linthout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bakos Endre, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Boros Benedek hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willy Van Linthout breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jullian Vranx made a kick off. Willy Van Linthout made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 51st minute. After 52 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Major Barna in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willy Van Linthout prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brend Schrevens, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Bakos Endre got a free kick in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Willy Van Linthout in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Bruly's Willy Van Linthout got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Van Linthout having to interfere. The Bruly players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
