But to his dismay, Kyle Cox quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Archibaldo Candamil, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Archibaldo Candamil in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Khalid Kennedy, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Kyle Cox came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the England fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kyle Cox couldn't finish the play. Xavier Gallagher hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Almazarrón's Baudelio Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Micah Macdonald in the 35th minute of play. After 37 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Cooper Thompson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astrit Melisarov in the 42nd minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes Archibaldo Candamil rounded England's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Issac Dawson hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Vodanovic in the 55th minute of the match. When Archibaldo Candamil fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almazarrón's protests and gave Archibaldo Candamil a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Almazarrón getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Archibaldo Candamil hit a great ball. Eddie Willis kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Almazarrón's Cedro Bouzon was substituted for Astrit Melisarov. The supporters of Almazarrón booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cooper Thompson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Aurelio Vodanovic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almazarrón's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Vodanovic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
