Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Denis Ispovednikov kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Ingvar Wennerqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garphyttan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 10th minute Zebastian Lindholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Kaiturov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zebastian Lindholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Stenkvist made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Anatoliy Benediktov sent off a good shot on target. After 27 played minutes Garphyttan got a freekick which was hit by Zebastian Lindholm. After 30 played minutes Garphyttan got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Wennerqvist. In the 32nd minute, Bengt-Arne Ekström made a precise shot to the right of Stanislav Kaiturov. Galatasaray SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 35 minutes into the match, Zebastian Lindholm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stanislav Kaiturov. Galatasaray SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zebastian Lindholm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After the first half Garphyttan were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Ingmar Grep had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Wennerqvist got free with Stanislav Kaiturov in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stanislav Kaiturov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zebastian Lindholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garphyttan's Ture Klintæus got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper Stanislav Kaiturov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingvar Wennerqvist. Mats Alegren's late challenge caught a Galatasaray SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mats Alegren helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Garphyttan got a freekick which was hit by Mats Alegren. In the 67th minute Mikhail Guschin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Stenkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zebastian Lindholm struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Stanislav Kaiturov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garphyttan. The crowd rose to their feet as Bengt-Arne Ekström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stanislav Kaiturov. That made the score 1-6 in the 70 minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Ekström came free, but Stanislav Kaiturov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikhail Guschin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Stenkvist having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Garphyttan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Grep to maneuver through the defense. Boris Ayupov kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Marcus Stenkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anatoliy Benediktov in the 83rd minute of the match. If Ingvar Wennerqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ingvar Wennerqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Stanislav Kaiturov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Mikhail Guschin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Garphyttan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
