In the 10th minute, Valiente Tebar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteve Cerilo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Saul Eskuin fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA INCAS's protests and gave Saul Eskuin a yellow card for diving instead. Leonardo Olazabal struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Esteve Cerilo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de Guayaquil FC. In the 20th minute Freddy Vermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Torne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valiente Tebar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Esteve Cerilo made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Vermudo came free, but Mauro Torne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When CA INCAS's Freddy Vermudo in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Valiente Tebar's late challenge caught a CA INCAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valiente Tebar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Inter de Guayaquil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valiente Tebar to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Valiente Tebar made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Valiente Tebar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA INCAS's Esteve Cerilo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zacarias Erdiano's late challenge caught a Inter de Guayaquil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Erdiano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CA INCAS getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Zacarias Erdiano hit a great ball. Jerson Casas took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteve Cerilo. Esteve Cerilo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. A collision led to CA INCAS getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Honorio Ferman hit a great ball. Esteve Cerilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Olazabal in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Olazabal in the 69th minute of play forced CA INCAS's goalkeeper Esteve Cerilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Juan-Alfredo Guceño left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de Guayaquil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 75 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Laserna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter de Guayaquil FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA INCAS the free kick. Osvaldo Laserna hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Freddy Vermudo sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Mauro Torne threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Freddy Vermudo this time. Esteve Cerilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Guedeja in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Inter de Guayaquil FC booed when CA INCAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Bitxintxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Valiente Tebar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteve Cerilo. CA INCAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valiente Tebar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Alarcón Mallavia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteve Cerilo having to make a save. A collision led to Inter de Guayaquil FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Juan-Alfredo Guceño hit a great ball. A long shot from Rene Abadia in the 89th minute of play was well struck, but Mauro Torne made a really good save at the right post. Esteve Cerilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Guedeja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, CA INCAS's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Guedeja came free, but Esteve Cerilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, CA INCAS's Zacarias Erdiano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mauro Torne. Mauro Torne yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the CA INCAS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Inter de Guayaquil FC.
