In the 4th match minute, EL PEPO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Camerino to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Garphyttan's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Sotero came free, but Marcus Stenkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Celso Inge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingvar Wennerqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romulo Jon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Garphyttan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 14th minute, Olof Dalberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Garphyttan booed when EL PEPO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Gabrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ingvar Wennerqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Afonso kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Romulo Jon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Wennerqvist in the 21st minute of play. Anibal Beltxe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Marcus Stenkvist made a huge save. Romulo Jon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Wennerqvist's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Ingvar Wennerqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Romulo Jon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ingvar Wennerqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Stenkvist was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Samuel Sotero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Samuel Sotero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1.

The supporters of Garphyttan booed when EL PEPO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Gabrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramon Gabrio kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arvin Löfdahl during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Elvio Rainerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL PEPO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Rainerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After a rather tough play, Garphyttan's Ingmar Grep got a free kick in the 84th minute. Mariano Noe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Stenkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Rainerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see EL PEPO FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
