Andrézinho Moreira had great luck who in the 13thth minute grab hold of the ball when Valiente Tebar from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Mauro Torne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Valiente Tebar in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Andrézinho Moreira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Inter de Guayaquil FC booed when Bergamim F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dênis Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Juan-Alfredo Guceño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Valiente Tebar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrézinho Moreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Mauro Torne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raí Simões in the 51st minute. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, José Augusto Toledo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Mauro Torne to make any attempt to save it. In the 62nd match minute, Bergamim F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauan Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Olazabal struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Andrézinho Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de Guayaquil FC. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Mauro Torne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Inter de Guayaquil FC from getting a goal against them. After 65 played minutes Inter de Guayaquil FC got a freekick which was hit by Vera Castro. After 66 minutes of play Inter de Guayaquil FC's Vera Castro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Vera Castro got a free kick in the 67th minute. Mauro Torne made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Raí Simões sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the match, Fernando Guedeja had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrézinho Moreira. Bergamim F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Guedeja was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 77th minute Valiente Tebar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrézinho Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrézinho Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valiente Tebar in the 79th minute of the match. Andrézinho Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valiente Tebar's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Valiente Tebar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Andrézinho Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrézinho Moreira came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Guayaquil FC's Valiente Tebar. But to his dismay, Valiente Tebar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.
