Mauro Torne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Rafoss in the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, Inter de Guayaquil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan-Alfredo Guceño to maneuver through the defense. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Mauro Torne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isak Dalby in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Rafoss came free, but Mauro Torne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valiente Tebar was the one to do the kick off. Dagfinn Rørstad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The team pollen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Alarcón Mallavia hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The Inter de Guayaquil FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching team pollen's performance. The match ended with a win for team pollen.
