Galatasaray SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anatoliy Benediktov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee showed Konstantin Shehter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray SK's Konstantin Shehter got a free kick in the 67th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Varela came free, but Stanislav Kaiturov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes in the game, Fernando Varela dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 73rd minute Anatoliy Benediktov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitório Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Anatoliy Benediktov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stanislav Kaiturov came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Catadão's Fernando Varela. But to his dismay, Fernando Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Stanislav Kaiturov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Rezende in the 91st minute of play. Stanislav Kaiturov came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Catadão's Vitório Rezende. But to his dismay, Vitório Rezende quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Catadão had played much better football throughout.
