The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Kjellman to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of AFC Koolkerke booed when FC Bal op het Dak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joop Meder didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81stth minute of the game Martijn August who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ulises Steven didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martijn August went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Ulises Steven stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martijn August's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. AFC Koolkerke's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
