Unai Sócrates who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Kuido Undusk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Esquipula in the 9th minute of play forced Les Presidents FC's goalkeeper Kuido Undusk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Les Presidents FC's goalkeeper Kuido Undusk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Unai Sócrates. Kuido Undusk made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Yuri Portugal sent off a good shot on target. Radamel Hendrickx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermelando Coello in the 14th minute of the match. Radamel Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermelando Coello, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Kuido Undusk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yuri Portugal's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 32nd minute Yuri Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuido Undusk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuido Undusk was a little too slow when Pieterjan Anteunis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 38th minute Durval Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radamel Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radamel Hendrickx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermelando Coello in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yuri Portugal to make the kick off. Pieterjan Anteunis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuido Undusk having to interfere. If Durval Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 57 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermelando Coello. In the 61st match minute, Les Presidents FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregory Thielemans to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Les Presidents FC defense, Yuri Portugal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kuido Undusk. The Les Presidents FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kuido Undusk should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Yuri Portugal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kuido Undusk was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Radamel Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durval Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th match minute, Fauna Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pieterjan Anteunis to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Yuri Portugal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kuido Undusk. Les Presidents FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yuri Portugal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. Les Presidents FC's Kuido Undusk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unai Sócrates in the 95th minute of play.
