Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guido Vissenaeken started the match with the kick off. When Guido Vissenaeken came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Brugge United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Vissenaeken couldn't finish the play. Guido Vissenaeken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, Romeo Loiola threw the ball into play from the sideline. Brugge United's Sandro Gaúcho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Les Presidents FC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Les Presidents FC's Hermelando Coello looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Brugge United's zone, Durval Aparecido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Baia came out of the goal and Durval Aparecido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute Guido Vissenaeken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuido Undusk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vítor Baia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermelando Coello in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Durval Aparecido. Kuido Undusk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Vissenaeken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kuido Undusk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Ümit Karan hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 44 played minutes Les Presidents FC got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Loiola. The supporters of Les Presidents FC booed when Brugge United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Roşculeţ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Les Presidents FC's Amadeo Guillelme shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 47th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vítor Baia but with some difficulty. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hermelando Coello made a kick off. Guido Vissenaeken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durval Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Durval Aparecido notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Brugge United's Vítor Baia. Vítor Baia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brugge United made a substitution. Arnauld Van Impe replaced Guido Vissenaeken. Vítor Baia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Vítor Baia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregory Thielemans in the 69th minute of the match. When Arnauld Van Impe came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Brugge United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnauld Van Impe couldn't finish the play. In the 76thth minute of the game Arnauld Van Impe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Les Presidents FC's Kuido Undusk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brugge United's Goffrey Sas was substituted for Dries Philipsen. Kuido Undusk made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Waud Huijbrechts sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Durval Aparecido came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th play minute Waud Huijbrechts came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kuido Undusk. 3-2. 89 minutes into the match, Les Presidents FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ümit Karan came free, but Kuido Undusk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Les Presidents FC's Kuido Undusk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Goffrey Sas in the 95th minute of play.
