Tran Vrolijcx started the match with the kick off. The supporters of SV Balverliefd booed when Ad Fundum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Van Beneden didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute Tran Vrolijcx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Zoethout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Ad Fundum's Kamiel Ingelborgh got control of the ball when Huib Smit tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kamiel Ingelborgh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Huib Smit's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Huib Smit got free with Kamiel Ingelborgh in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 12 minutes, Lisandro Heerckes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV Balverliefd and the Ad Fundum players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SV Balverliefd getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Lisandro Heerckes hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Erwin Albert put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Yorrick Zoethout. In the 16thth minute of the game Huib Smit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ad Fundum's Kamiel Ingelborgh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Baldaia in the 19th minute of play. After 19 played minutes SV Balverliefd got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Lindelöf. In the 21st minute of the match, Steven Homan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kamiel Ingelborgh saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 25 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goal looked a bit too open when Jordi Paschiers came free, but Yorrick Zoethout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordi Paschiers in the 25th minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's Jyrki Kujanpää sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kamiel Ingelborgh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ad Fundum's zone, Steven Homan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamiel Ingelborgh came out of the goal and Steven Homan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melker Gudmundsson got free with Kamiel Ingelborgh in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manfred Bruse hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Steven Homan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kamiel Ingelborgh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix van As, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Ad Fundum booed when SV Balverliefd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melker Gudmundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Huib Smit made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melker Gudmundsson in the 50th minute of play forced Ad Fundum's goalkeeper Kamiel Ingelborgh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yorrick Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordi Paschiers in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Jyrki Kujanpää got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Baldaia. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Huib Smit in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kamiel Ingelborgh saved Ad Fundum from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Huib Smit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kamiel Ingelborgh was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 61st match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philippe-Arnaud Van Cleijnenbreugel to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute of the match Manfred Bruse shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yorrick Zoethout showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Ad Fundum's goal looked a bit too open when Jyrki Kujanpää came free, but Kamiel Ingelborgh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kamiel Ingelborgh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jyrki Kujanpää in the 66th minute of play. Kamiel Ingelborgh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melker Gudmundsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goal looked a bit too open when Jordi Paschiers came free, but Yorrick Zoethout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Homan in the 84th minute of play forced Ad Fundum's goalkeeper Kamiel Ingelborgh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Van Beneden took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yorrick Zoethout. Yorrick Zoethout dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.
