The supporters of Olavarria FC booed when North Hill United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dre Toeback didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Isaias Matas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Joos Teurfs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

After 50 played minutes Olavarria FC got a freekick which was hit by Jenő Menszátor. If Tiberiu Florescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Kotlar in the 57th minute of play forced North Hill United's goalkeeper Joos Teurfs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Tan got free with Michel Hendrickx in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jim Roussel made in the 63rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dre Toeback immediately put the ball in play.
