Wiktor Falkiewicz started the match with the kick off. Eugeniusz Cwojdak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Boruc Furgal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, one of FC Rogers Sosnowiec:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Rogers Sosnowiec. Adam Wnukowski shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Slavyan Gusev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Falkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boruc Furgal made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Eugeniusz Cwojdak sent off a good shot on target. When Wiktor Falkiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Kania Gostyń fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wiktor Falkiewicz couldn't finish the play. Boruc Furgal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Bejrut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kania Gostyń's Boruc Furgal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Bejrut in the 16th minute of play. Slavyan Gusev came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kania Gostyń's Wiktor Falkiewicz. But to his dismay, Wiktor Falkiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Teofil Jakubiak made in the 26th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Roberto Carlos immediately put the ball in play. Wiktor Falkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Kania Gostyń's goalkeeper Boruc Furgal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Randolph Eubanks. After 31 played minutes Kania Gostyń got a freekick which was hit by Remigiusz Kazanowski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Randolph Eubanks got free with Boruc Furgal in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wiktor Falkiewicz scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Slavyan Gusev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wiktor Bejrut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Randolph Eubanks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boruc Furgal having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Wiktor Falkiewicz notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Rogers Sosnowiec's Slavyan Gusev. Slavyan Gusev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Boruc Furgal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiktor Bejrut, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Slavyan Gusev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Falkiewicz in the 62nd minute of the match. The corner ended in Adam Wnukowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Rogers Sosnowiec's Slavyan Gusev did a great save. FC Rogers Sosnowiec's Slavyan Gusev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save FC Rogers Sosnowiec from getting a goal against them. After having played for 69 minutes, Eugeniusz Cwojdak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Rogers Sosnowiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugeniusz Cwojdak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Wiktor Bejrut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boruc Furgal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 76 minutes into the match, FC Rogers Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Falkiewicz came free, but Slavyan Gusev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
