Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Camiel Van Aken took the kick off in the first half of the match. Manuel Bruynincx made in the 3rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Serge Van Looy however managed to control. 13 minutes into the game, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dominik Jansens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sam-Lucas Mangelschot during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Brusselse Ketjes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam-Lucas Mangelschot to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute of the match Chris Nygaard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dominik Jansens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Dre Van Den Haecke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brusselse Ketjes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Brusselse Ketjes's Dominik Jansens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camiel Van Aken in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. Dominik Jansens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The supporters of Brusselse Ketjes booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Steen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Bendtsen during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Keld Paulsen had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Camiel Van Aken's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Camiel Van Aken came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Lars Steen hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Dre Van Den Haecke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute, Camiel Van Aken made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Sam-Lucas Mangelschot was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Denmark booed when Brusselse Ketjes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sam-Lucas Mangelschot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rocky Dirickx kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Chris Nygaard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominik Jansens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Camiel Van Aken struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brusselse Ketjes. In the 72nd minute, Gunter Opdebeeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikkel Wulff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Camiel Van Aken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Camiel Van Aken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Camiel Van Aken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brusselse Ketjes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camiel Van Aken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Brusselse Ketjes could leave the field as winners, despite Denmark having more of the ball for most of the match.
