Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Palacio in the 18th minute of play. Zjem Cię were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manfred Hönisch took the corner. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Germany! 27 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Napoleon Jajko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Mateo Palacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Mateo Palacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Mateo Palacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Zenon Roman notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Mateo Palacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Mateo Palacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Mateo Palacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zjem Cię's Amador Presebal was substituted for Murillo Cedeno. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Napoleon Jajko made a huge save. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenon Roman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zenon Roman's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Zenon Roman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Zenon Roman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Roman in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Zenon Roman came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Zjem Cię's Czeslaw Pawlak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After a rather tough play, Zjem Cię's Mateo Palacio got a free kick in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zjem Cię had won after a very even match.
