The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Osvaldinho Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes Facopo FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Mattos. In the 43rd minute, Pedro Requena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Facopo FBPA getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Pedro Requena hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Facopo FBPA's Filip Slipetskyi was substituted for Samuel Bastos. The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Mattos in the 64th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Mattos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filip Slipetskyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Mattos in the 87th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
