A wasted opportunity for Hungary. 20 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Candido Hendrickx. Pilar FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Godofredo Lano in the 22nd minute. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Candido Hendrickx sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute Pilar FC were awarded a corner. Godofredo Lano went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Cristian Jenaro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Candido Hendrickx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sixto Luke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Szekeres Tamas got a free kick in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Candido Hendrickx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Candido Hendrickx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pilar FC made a substitution. Guus Koole replaced Cristian Jenaro. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Hungary:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pilar FC:s goal. 68 minutes into the match, Candido Hendrickx notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pilar FC's Nicanor Illan was substituted for Candido Hendrickx. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Sixto Luke in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Illan came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Luke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Pilar FC's Nicanor Illan. But to his dismay, Nicanor Illan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Illan in the 85th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Luke having to interfere. Sixto Luke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 89th minute. Sixto Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when Pilar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aukusti Malinen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Pilar FC had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
