Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chris Nygaard started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes of play, Samsunspor's Hatemi Selami made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Samsunspor booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikkel Wulff didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Diego Armando de Alcântara in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Mathias Ludvigsen. Yavuzalp Sağanalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Denmark booed when Samsunspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şafak Şeref didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Şafak Şeref fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samsunspor's protests and gave Şafak Şeref a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Samsunspor got a freekick which was hit by Şafak Şeref. In the 22nd minute, Chris Nygaard sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Samsunspor's Yavuzalp Sağanalp didn't even have to move. 26 minutes into the match, Cemal Bekdil notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Oğuz Gülle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yavuzalp Sağanalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Denmark booed when Samsunspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cihan Aynacıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hatemi Selami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cemal Bekdil was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Hatemi Selami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Hatemi Selami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cemal Bekdil in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cemal Bekdil's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Denmark's Chris Nygaard was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 60th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 65th minute of play forced Samsunspor's goalkeeper Yavuzalp Sağanalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute of the game Diego Armando de Alcântara made a throw-in which Cihan Aynacıoğlu played forward. Cihan Aynacıoğlu scored 3-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Chris Nygaard hit a great ball. In the 76th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuzalp Sağanalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chris Nygaard took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yavuzalp Sağanalp. Yavuzalp Sağanalp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Samsunspor's Cemal Bekdil got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Bendtsen hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Denmark's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Samsunspor had won, even though Denmark had held more of the ball.
