In the 17thth minute of the game Benjamin Abilio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FRIENDS CITY's João Pedro Guedes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to El Outsider 6 getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Guaberto Bonadona hit a great ball. Kepa Arrizabalaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the El Outsider 6 defense, Wanderson de Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kepa Arrizabalaga. The El Outsider 6 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kepa Arrizabalaga should have stopped the shot. Kepa Arrizabalaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson de Toledo in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Niceto Martxel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kepa Arrizabalaga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 30 played minutes El Outsider 6 got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Leguizamón. Kepa Arrizabalaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Martxel in the 33rd minute of play. El Outsider 6's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wanderson de Toledo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. João Pedro Guedes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Abilio's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. If Wanderson de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Abilio made a kick off. If Ildefonso Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Abilio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Pedro Guedes was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Abilio in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Pedro Guedes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute El Outsider 6 were awarded a corner. El Outsider 6's players were relieved. Fabrício Severo's late challenge caught a El Outsider 6's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
