An unexpectedly hard shot by Russ Smee in the 10th minute of play forced TAVIRA FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 minutes SnapperHeads F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was António Varanda who took care of the corner kick. The corner led TAVIRA FC's António Varanda to fire away a dangerous shot which Clay Oconnell despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. TAVIRA FC's Álvaro Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Russ Smee in the 18th minute of play. Joaquim Macieira hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Álvaro Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Russ Smee in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, TAVIRA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dean Martin came free, but Álvaro Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clay Oconnell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Macieira in the 27th minute of the match. If António Varanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clay Oconnell made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when António Varanda sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute TAVIRA FC were awarded a corner. António Varanda went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SnapperHeads F.C.'s goalie and right to António Varanda. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SnapperHeads F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isac Leme in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clay Oconnell saved SnapperHeads F.C. from getting behind. Álvaro Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Russ Smee in the 36th minute of play. Dean Martin scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Álvaro Moura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Humphry Kreck hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. TAVIRA FC's Álvaro Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Martin in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Russ Smee in the 48th minute of play forced TAVIRA FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Russ Smee was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, TAVIRA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Russ Smee came free, but Álvaro Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, SnapperHeads F.C.'s Stew Hicks nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquim Macieira hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, António Varanda managed to get in a good position for a shot. TAVIRA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but António Varanda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clay Oconnell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dean Martin hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rdth minute of the game Isac Leme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SnapperHeads F.C.'s Clay Oconnell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to SnapperHeads F.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Benney See hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Stew Hicks had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Álvaro Moura. TAVIRA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stew Hicks was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Álvaro Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dean Martin in the 90th minute of play. When Adélio Ferreira fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TAVIRA FC's protests and gave Adélio Ferreira a yellow card for diving instead. 95 minutes into the match, TAVIRA FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Moura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stew Hicks. After a rather tough play, TAVIRA FC's Alexandrino Modesto got a free kick in the 97th minute. Tito Castillo's shot from long distance in the 98th minute was not bad at all, but TAVIRA FC's Álvaro Moura knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The TAVIRA FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SnapperHeads F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for SnapperHeads F.C..
