Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lucas Delbridge started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the game, Niles Leach was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Disco Inferno FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TAVIRA FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Disco Inferno FC's Niles Leach got a free kick in the 8th minute. When António Varanda came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the TAVIRA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Varanda couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Joaquim Macieira put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jimmy Fraser. Disco Inferno FC's Jimmy Fraser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Varanda in the 16th minute of play. Jimmy Fraser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António Varanda, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes Disco Inferno FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was António Varanda who took care of the corner kick. Delfim Cesário was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 23rd minute of the match, Lucas Delbridge got a very nice opportunity to score, but Álvaro Moura was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Joaquim Macieira fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TAVIRA FC's protests and gave Joaquim Macieira a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, TAVIRA FC's Joaquim Macieira got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Leme in the 38th minute of play forced Disco Inferno FC's goalkeeper Jimmy Fraser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of TAVIRA FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Disco Inferno FC:s goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isac Leme to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55th play minutes Isac Leme shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Jimmy Fraser and just under the crossbar into goal. Álvaro Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dean Ayrton in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 minutes, Adélio Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TAVIRA FC and the Disco Inferno FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adélio Ferreira hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Jaime Mourão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of TAVIRA FC booed when Disco Inferno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Howard Bowen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimmy Fraser was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from António Varanda. When Joaquim Macieira came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the TAVIRA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Macieira couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, TAVIRA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dean Ayrton came free, but Álvaro Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Isac Leme reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jimmy Fraser. The goal made the score 3-4. 83 minutes into the game, Dean Ayrton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-4. Álvaro Moura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Álvaro Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Delbridge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the TAVIRA FC defense, Greger Lundkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Álvaro Moura. The TAVIRA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Álvaro Moura should have stopped the shot. TAVIRA FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
