The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lucas Delbridge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Paijo Sutrisna made a huge save. When Rocky Balboa came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Disco Inferno FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rocky Balboa couldn't finish the play. After recieving a nice pass, Disco Inferno FC's Ethan Galvin tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bawang Merah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Duta Setiawan charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duta Setiawan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Duta Setiawan hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jimmy Fraser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bawang Merah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Bawang Merah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimmy Fraser was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Bawang Merah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disco Inferno FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bawang Merah was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Duta Setiawan to strike the kick off in the second half. Niles Leach charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niles Leach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Disco Inferno FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Niles Leach hit a great ball. With his leg Jimmy Fraser managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when SAPI FC's Duta Setiawan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Disco Inferno FC defense, Bawang Merah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimmy Fraser. The Disco Inferno FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimmy Fraser should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute Bawang Merah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Fraser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Bawang Merah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded SAPI FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Disco Inferno FC.
