Abel Varanda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bawang Merah in the 10th minute of the match. Abel Varanda came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by SAPI FC's Bawang Merah. But to his dismay, Bawang Merah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Paijo Sutrisna made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when António Varanda sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute Isac Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paijo Sutrisna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SAPI FC's Paijo Sutrisna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Leme in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SAPI FC's zone, Joaquim Macieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paijo Sutrisna came out of the goal and Joaquim Macieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 minutes of play, SAPI FC's Bawang Merah made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Varanda was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Makan Beling during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abel Varanda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duta Setiawan in the 37th minute of play. TAVIRA FC's Abel Varanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bawang Merah in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to SAPI FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Daffa Sopandi hit a great ball. Joaquim Macieira's late challenge caught a SAPI FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isac Leme made a kick off. In the 56th minute Bawang Merah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Varanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martinus Bachdim got free with Abel Varanda in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 59 played minutes TAVIRA FC got a freekick which was hit by Máximo Ferrão. In the 61st minute Bawang Merah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Varanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duta Setiawan in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abel Varanda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bawang Merah in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Varanda saved TAVIRA FC from getting behind. Bawang Merah might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Varanda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bawang Merah ran back to his position shaking his head. The TAVIRA FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SAPI FC's performance. The match ended with a win for SAPI FC.
