TAVIRA FC's Abel Varanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Martxel in the 14th minute of play. After 22 played minutes TAVIRA FC got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Cesário. Abel Varanda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Martxel in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, TAVIRA FC's Cristiano Sousa got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Wanderson de Toledo made a precise shot to the right of Abel Varanda. TAVIRA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. João Pedro Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isac Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as FRIENDS CITY's Wanderson de Toledo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abel Varanda. That made the score 2-0 after 41 minutes of play. Wanderson de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Varanda having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, FRIENDS CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Macieira came free, but João Pedro Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wanderson de Toledo made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FRIENDS CITY! Niceto Martxel might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Varanda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niceto Martxel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th match minute, FRIENDS CITY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício Severo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of TAVIRA FC booed when FRIENDS CITY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wanderson de Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Varanda came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by FRIENDS CITY's Wágner Prado. But to his dismay, Wágner Prado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Abel Varanda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Martxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind FRIENDS CITY's goalkeeper João Pedro Guedes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isac Leme in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Pedro Guedes saved FRIENDS CITY from getting behind. After 77 played minutes FRIENDS CITY got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Martxel. The audience thought a goal was coming when António Varanda got free with João Pedro Guedes in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Pedro Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Macieira in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Luiz Guilherme Ribeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FRIENDS CITY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TAVIRA FC the free kick. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Varanda prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
