The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lino Madeo succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. In the 8thth minute of the game Lino Madeo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FRIENDS CITY's Faustão de Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 10 minutes, Lino Madeo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FRIENDS CITY's Faustão de Carvalho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 14 played minutes FRIENDS CITY got a freekick which was hit by Léo Leite. FRIENDS CITY's Faustão de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Asur in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Madeo in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustão de Carvalho saved FRIENDS CITY from getting behind. In the 19thth minute of the game Lino Madeo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FRIENDS CITY's Faustão de Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Lino Madeo put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Faustão de Carvalho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Asur in the 22nd minute of play forced FRIENDS CITY's goalkeeper Faustão de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Jorginho Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lino Madeo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustão de Carvalho was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. The supporters of FRIENDS CITY booed when Reconquistense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Transito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Francisco Pelagius successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of FRIENDS CITY booed when Reconquistense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Chinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Isaac Asur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustão de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sílvio Luís Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Reconquistense FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lino Madeo made a kick off. Faustão de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Madeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Madeo in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustão de Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lino Madeo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Faustão de Carvalho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Francisco Pelagius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 70 played minutes, FRIENDS CITY's Falcão Mangueira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francisco Pelagius came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FRIENDS CITY reached it. In the 71st match minute, Reconquistense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Joanes to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Joanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão de Carvalho having to interfere. A collision led to FRIENDS CITY getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Léo Leite hit a great ball. In the 86th minute Jorginho Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sílvio Luís Correia came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the FRIENDS CITY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Luís Correia couldn't finish the play. Francisco Pelagius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes Reconquistense FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Falcão Mangueira who took care of the corner kick. Anacleto Norino might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faustão de Carvalho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anacleto Norino ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the game, Enio Koehler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FRIENDS CITY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reconquistense FC the free kick. Enio Koehler hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Reconquistense FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
