Bélkő SE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stars Academy the free kick. József Csóka kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Hermes Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but György Kaszás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermes Arruda in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg György Kaszás saved Bélkő SE from getting behind. In the 11th minute József Csóka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th match minute, Stars Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Infante to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Endre Balla in the 12th minute really tested Miguel Carneiro's skills. After having played for 21 minutes, István Kováts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bélkő SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but István Kováts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ádám Földesi charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ádám Földesi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Stars Academy booed when Bélkő SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ádám Földesi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match, József Csóka tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Miguel Carneiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Miguel Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from József Csóka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Stars Academy getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Antero Rebocho hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by József Csóka in the 33rd minute of play forced Stars Academy's goalkeeper Miguel Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from József Csóka in the 34th minute of the match. Miguel Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máté Kristóf in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Bélkő SE's Áron Gyurkovics ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Miguel Carneiro. Miguel Carneiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The supporters of Stars Academy booed when Bélkő SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Áron Gyurkovics didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antero Rebocho to strike the kick off in the second half. If József Csóka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. After some careless play in the Stars Academy defense, Máté Kristóf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Carneiro. The Stars Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Carneiro should have stopped the shot. Antero Rebocho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. Stars Academy's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. György Kaszás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermes Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Miguel Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from József Csóka in the 93rd minute of play.
