Arquímedes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anastasio Quirce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukasz Gmoch in the 6th minute of play. MDS Soccer Club were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Arquímedes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Maria Mineiro took the corner. The corner led MDS Soccer Club's José Maria Mineiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Anastasio Quirce despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Jacinto during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th match minute, MDS Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. Artur Romero acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Arquímedes Gabon. 15 minutes into the match, Arquímedes's goal looked a bit too open when Lukasz Gmoch came free, but Anastasio Quirce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ren Ting Jian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Ren Ting Jian could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Artur Romero however easily saved by the left post. In the 27th minute José Maria Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fernando Jacinto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. The supporters of Arquímedes booed when MDS Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lukasz Gmoch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Anastasio Quirce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Arquímedes fans cheered their team off the field, for while MDS Soccer Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
