Roman Leguizamón hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Anastasio Quirce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Mineiro in the 5th minute of the match. A collision led to Arquímedes getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Severiano Enaut hit a great ball. Engenheiros da Vila's Eriberto Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Enaut in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Arquímedes's zone, Gernando Sarmento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Quirce came out of the goal and Gernando Sarmento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Flávio Mineiro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Anastasio Quirce, passed just outside the right post. Eliseu Brasils short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Anastasio Quirce to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Engenheiros da Vila getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Geraldo Fernandez hit a great ball. Eriberto Queirós came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Arquímedes's Saverio Larpe. But to his dismay, Saverio Larpe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Severiano Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Ren Ting Jian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Enaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 28 in the game by Eliseu Brasil from a close distance when the talented Anastasio Quirce managed to make a qualified save. Arquímedes's players were relieved. Anastasio Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute of the match Severiano Enaut sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Queirós skillfully saved the ball. Ramon Ledesma hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Gernando Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Quirce having to interfere. Adriano Panella struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Anastasio Quirce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Engenheiros da Vila. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliseu Brasil to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Engenheiros da Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Enaut came free, but Eriberto Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasio Quirce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseu Brasil's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Severiano Enaut sped through Engenheiros da Vila's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eriberto Queirós. When Engenheiros da Vila's Eliseu Brasil in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arquímedes's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Eliseu Brasil put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Anastasio Quirce. Anastasio Quirce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Brasil in the 69th minute of the match. Arquímedes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Severiano Enaut in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseu Brasil in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Quirce saved Arquímedes from getting behind. Anastasio Quirce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseu Brasil in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Quirce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Engenheiros da Vila's Eriberto Queirós got control of the ball when Ren Ting Jian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eriberto Queirós made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Saverio Larpe sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Sarmento in the 87th minute of play forced Arquímedes's goalkeeper Anastasio Quirce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Roman Leguizamón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Quirce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Engenheiros da Vila's Eriberto Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Engenheiros da Vila from getting a goal against them.
