Miguel Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Oxarra in the 3rd minute of play. Miguel Carneiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Cresencio went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Siro Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veríssimo Peralta, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Honorio Cresencio scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Carneiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miguel Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Balendin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, CENTAURO's goal looked a bit too open when Antero Rebocho came free, but Siro Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Carneiro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. After 37 minutes of play, CENTAURO's Baltasar Oxarra made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Carneiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Antero Rebocho in the 47th minute of play forced CENTAURO's goalkeeper Siro Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorio Cresencio to strike the kick off in the second half. Siro Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veríssimo Peralta in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antero Rebocho got free with Siro Cordeiro in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, Joel Balendin notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Stars Academy's Miguel Carneiro. Miguel Carneiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miguel Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Cresencio in the 62nd minute of the match. Américo Conde kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Basilio Cresencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Joel Balendin fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CENTAURO's protests and gave Joel Balendin a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes CENTAURO got a freekick which was hit by Joel Balendin. In the 74th minute, Joel Balendin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Carneiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After a rather tough play, Stars Academy's Américo Conde got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 81st match minute, CENTAURO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Oxarra to maneuver through the defense. Stars Academy's Miguel Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Cresencio in the 84th minute of play. Antero Rebocho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Siro Cordeiro made a huge save. Santiago Pinho charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Pinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Stars Academy got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Pinho. With a little luck, CENTAURO's Siro Cordeiro got control of the ball when Antero Rebocho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CENTAURO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Stars Academy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
